Rose City Classic 🌹
The Rose City Classic is a USTA-sanctioned, adult tournament hosted every year in May. This year will be the 3rd Annual Rose City Classic benefiting the Kelly Johnson Foundation. If you would like to get involved–play, volunteer, or sponsor the event, see the event information below.
3rd Annual Rose City Classic | Stay Tuned for 2025!
- 6 Divisions for our 2nd year: Men’s Singles (NTRP 3.0, 3.5., 4.0), Men’s Doubles (Combo NTRP 8.0, 9.0), Women’s Doubles (Combo NTRP 8.0, 9.0), Mixed Doubles (Combo NTRP 8.0, 9.0)
- Entries close: Tuesday, May 14th
- Draws posted: Thursday, May 16th
- Tournament Location: Washington Park
- ONE-DAY ONLY (Depending on draw size, we will utilize Friday, May 17th 6pm & 6:45pm (if needed) for first round matches. Otherwise, all divisions will start Saturday, May 18th morning and all Finals will conclude on Saturday, May 18th.)
- USTA-SANCTIONED LEVEL 6 EVENT
- Draw Format: First Match Single Elimination
- Scoring Format: 1 Pro Set to 8 games. 7 point tie breaker at 8 games all.
- $40 per player per event.

- Pay It Forward Initiative: We are partnering with Second Serve 501(c)3 to donate new and gently used tennis gear to kids in need in the PNW region. Feel free to bring items to the collection bin on-site. Our goal is 30 items to kickoff our 3rd annual event!
- Our Sustainability Initiative: We recycle all tennis balls after the tournament with Recycleballs.
